Behind Isle of wish

In 2016 Wishnu Bintang decided to take the big leap leaving the corporate world and started focusing on her music project. Born and raised in Indonesia, she has been interested in poetry, writing and  music since a young age. Though not able to play any musical instruments nor has  any musical training, she is determined to make her own record album.

Always attracted to the sound and songs with strong lyric by artists such as Queen, Sade, Jeff Buckley, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Chris Cornell, as well as Beth Hart, Melody Gardot, Pink and  Adele; she  turned her original written materials collected since her early twenties into songs of different styles. Under a project which she named Isle Of Wish (her nickname is Wish), few of the songs are being released as a single in 2018. The full album is schedule for release in early 2019. In this debut album she collaborated with artists from Bali such as Made D. Swanjaya (Dek Ong) on keyboard who also lent a hand in arranging the songs, I.B. Yogi Bhaskara on drum, and Roy C. Dragon from Singapore who played saxophone and violin in few of the songs.

New to the music world, and first time producing her own materials, her songs cover subject of emotions which are common but sometimes hard to express. The sound chosen for the arrangement of the  songs drew inspiration from blues, rock and pop styles from various decades, giving the songs a different feel among what is available in the current popular music market.
